Welcome to the Farm Stand
Okay, here’s the deal.
This is not a grab-and-go, in-and-out kind of place (although you can do that if you’re in a rush). It’s a self-serve flower stand in Mills River where you can pick up a bouquet, wander a little, and maybe stay longer than you planned.
People usually walk up and say some version of, “you’ve done such a great job, this is an amazing experience” and honestly… that’s exactly the vibe I was going for.
What You’ll Find Here
Bouquets
Fresh, seasonal flowers grown right here - not shipped, not bred to survive a cross-country trip, but chosen because they look beautiful together in a bouquet. The kind that make you stop and stare for a second before grabbing one.
U-Pick Flowers
If you want the full experience - clippers and a bucket are waiting for you. Wander the rows, cut what you love, and build your own bouquet.
Small (a table bouquet) - $25
Large (go big, no regrets) - $45
No reservation, no pressure, no flower knowledge required.
Little Extras
Depending on the day, you’ll find a few add-ons tucked into the stand - small gifts, seasonal things, and a couple “oh I didn’t know I needed this” items.
Little Free Library + Creekside Spot
Grab a book, leave a book, or just wander back to the shaded picnic table by the creek and sit for a minute. No purchase required.
Sunflower Planting
This one’s just for fun. Pot up a few sunflower seeds near the outdoor sink and take them home - your future self will be very pleased.

Longer version: I built this to feel easy, welcoming, and based on trust - the kind of place where you can slow down for a minute, pick out something beautiful, and feel like you’re part of something a little more human than a typical transaction.
