You are a Force of Nature. You do not yield. Nature does not need a filter to be beautiful. She is fierce and unapologetically wild. Just as a flower does not compare itself to any other, you are transcendent.

I started my first year as a flower farmer in Mills River, NC without even meaning to. I planted a garden full of vegetables with a few annual flowers thrown in for the bees, and when spring came, all I wanted was to cut and arrange flowers.
But in May of 2024, we lost our 16 year old Blue Heeler - Ash. Her passing shattered me. As I started to put myself back together, I realized I wanted nothing more than to bring joy to others in a way that she did for me.
And so Grey Dog Flowers was born. This business is founded on the belief that the best flowers are local, seasonal, and sustainably produced. Strong communities are created by local businesses. We support each other. We know each other.
In 2025 I'll be opening a Flower Farm Stand in the Asheville area on Old Haywood Rd., across from the High Vista Community and Golf Club. I'll be weaving the concept of community through everything, and creating a fun, dog friendly, and family friendly experience!
Return + Refund Policy
Because flowers are living things and this farm is run by an actual human.
I do my best to make sure every bouquet leaves this farm beautiful and thriving. But flowers, like people, are a little bit unpredictable - and just as sensitive to being left in a hot car or forgotten on a porch. Here's how I handle returns, refunds, pickups, and all the little “what-ifs” that come with running a self-serve flower stand.
PICKUP POLICY
When you order a bouquet for pickup, you'll receive an email within 24 hours confirming your pickup date and details. Most bouquets are ready within 1–3 days unless you’ve requested a specific date. All pickups are self-serve at the Grey Dog Flowers stand (110 Grey Haven Drive, Mills River, NC) during open hours.
Please note:

I do not hold bouquets beyond your scheduled pickup day unless you've contacted me in advance.

Bouquets not picked up during the specified time frame will not be refunded or replaced.

The flowers will not wait for you. And neither will I (but please communicate).
DELIVERY POLICY
If you're getting flowers delivered, here’s how that works:
You’ll get an email at least two days prior to delivery with your expected delivery window and important info—like how to prepare if you won’t be home. If you're not there to receive the bouquet, it will be left at the delivery address in the safest, shadiest spot I can find.
BUT—and this is a big one:

I am not responsible for bouquets after they are delivered.

If you're not home, you need to leave out a vase with water. Otherwise, your bouquet may wilt, faint, or fully give up on life.

No refunds or replacements will be issued for bouquets left without water, picked up late, or accidentally used as a centerpiece for your neighborhood squirrels.
