BULK BLOOMS, ZERO FUSS
Fresh-From-the-Farm Buckets
Seasonal stems, straight from the field to your hands. Whether you're planning a wedding, hosting a dinner party, or just need an excuse to fill every room in your house with flowers, these DIY buckets will help you make something beautiful (and probably a little wild).
DIY Flowers with Personality
You don’t need a design degree or a Pinterest addiction. You just need a bucket of flowers, a few containers, and a willingness to get a little messy. Choose your color palette, pick up your bucket, and let the flowers do what they do best: show off.

How It Works
1. Pick Your Palette
Keep it simple. You choose either:
-
Farmer’s Choice (we surprise you)
-
Custom Palette (you choose a color mood—think soft pastels, moody jewel tones, bold brights, etc.)
2. Reserve Your Bucket
Order online at least two weeks in advance to reserve your date. Buckets are available from June through early October.
3. Create Something Gorgeous
You’ll get a generous mix of focal flowers, fillers, greens, and texture. Use them for centerpieces, bud vases, flower crowns, or an elaborate floral altar to summon the rain—whatever you’re into.
Rough estimate: One bucket fills about 6–8 mason jars or 2–3 medium arrangements.
Pricing Options
Farmer’s Choice Bucket - $105
~60–80 stems, grower’s mix, fresh & seasonal.
Custom Color Bucket - $135
Same generous mix, but I’ll tailor the palette to your vibe.
Big Bloom Bucket - $180
100+ stems for big-deal events, large installations, or people who just really, really love flowers.
Add-On: Greens bucket - $80
Grab a Greens‑Only Bucket (~60 stems), perfectly curated for texture and volume, to complement your blooms. Same design quality, less petal drama.
Add-On: Premium Stems - Starting at $25 per bundle
Add specialty blooms like peonies, gladiolus, or dahlias. Bundles range from 5-10 stems depending on the flower.
All flowers are grown chemical-free right here at Grey Dog Flowers in Asheville, NC. No imports. No fluff. Just good, weird beauty.

Former attendees of Bouquets + Bites Workshop
P.S. I see you, art teachers, baristas, and chaos-loving organizers of community potlucks. These are for you, too.
Seasonal Availability
Buckets are available from June through early October - when the fields are blooming, the bees are busy, and the weather cooperates.
Everything is grown on the farm, which means what's in your bucket depends on the season, the rain, and whether the dahlias are in the mood that week.
If you're planning for a specific date, especially on a weekend, please order as far in advance as possible to secure your spot. (Buckets do sell out!)
What You'll Get
Every bucket includes a farmer-curated mix of:
-
Focal flowers – zinnias, cosmos, rudbeckia, larkspur, foxglove
-
Filler blooms – feverfew, celosia, scabiosa, yarrow
-
Greenery & textural elements – basil, grasses, amaranth, scented herbs, flowering branches
When assembling a bucket, the aim is for a rough 1:1:1 ratio:
-
⅓ focal flowers
-
⅓ fillers
-
⅓ greens and texture
Want more greenery? You can always add a Greens-Only Bucket for an extra dose of lush drama.
What you won’t get: dyed roses, imported ranunculus in July, or anything boring.
FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
How many arrangements does one bucket make?
One bucket generally fills 6–8 mason jars or 2–3 medium centerpiece arrangements, depending on how full you go. Think loose, wild, and garden-y.
Can I pick specific flowers?
Not exactly - there are palette options (like “bright & bold” or “neutral & soft”), but the actual varieties depend on what’s blooming that week. I promise it’ll be beautiful.
What if I need more than one bucket?
No problem! Many people order 2–4 buckets for weddings or larger events. You can mix Farmer’s Choice with custom colors or add extra greens/premium stems.
Do you deliver?
Local delivery is available to select areas for a fee. Otherwise pick up is at the farm stand.
How long do the flowers last?
With clean containers and cool temps, your blooms should last 4–6 days. Flowers are harvested fresh within 24 hours of pickup for maximum vase life.
What should I bring to pickup?
A car with a little space and something to keep your bucket upright. I recommend bringing a box or crate to help it ride safely.
Can I return the bucket?
Yes! Reduce, reuse, recycle! Bring it back and get a $5 farm stand credit for being a sustainability superstar.
