Looking for a fun way to celebrate the Summer Solstice in Asheville and Hendersonville? Join us for the Grand Opening of the Grey Dog Flowers Farm Stand! Here’s a preview of the afternoon line-up from live music to kids’ activities and special discounts. There’s something for everyone.

A Festive Atmosphere  - Inside & Out

It’s going to be a warm afternoon, but we’ve made sure you’ll stay comfortable.
There will be icy drinks, shady seating (the good kind 😏), and fans set up both indoors and outside.

Tip: If you prefer a quieter, more chill experience, consider dropping by later in the day once it starts to cool down.

 

Live Fiddle Music from The Riley Sisters (3:30–5:00)

I'm excited to feature The Riley Sisters, a remarkable local duo who specialize in old-time fiddle music.

You may have heard them at the Hendersonville Farmers Market or busking in downtown Asheville. Now you can enjoy their music while you play cornhole, do an activity with your kids, or simply sit back and take it all in.

Bring a Book for the Little Free Library  - Get 10% Off

Don’t forget to bring a book to donate to our Little Free Library and you’ll receive 10% off your total farm stand purchase.

If you’re an introvert who needs a minute, grab a book, find a shady corner, and enjoy a moment of peace.

Polaroid Photo Op: Take Home a Personalized Souvenir

Smile and say “cheese!” Take a selfie with the Grey Dog Flowers polaroid camera and a black-and-white photo will print for you to take home immediately, and a color digital copy will be available upon request afterwards. Perfect for sharing a piece of your day with friends and family.

Activities for Kids - Sunflower Planting & Drawing

Bring the kids! They can plant their own sunflower to take home, and decorate their pot with their own creative touch.

We’ll also have paper and coloring pencils available for children to draw their own flowers. Take their art home or we'll hang it in the farm stand for everyone to appreciate!

Don’t forget to check out the kids’ books in the Little Free Library.
