This is a hands-on workshop for people who like their flowers a little less polite. I’ll walk you through the mechanics, shape, balance, and flower placement behind a low seasonal centerpiece. You’ll have a full selection of farm-grown and locally sourced flowers, foliage, and textural ingredients to work with. No experience needed. No floral foam. No pressure to make yours look like anyone else’s.

No Floral Foam. Still Plenty of Drama.

You’ll work with reusable mechanics that give the arrangement structure without relying on single-use floral foam. I’ll show you how the mechanics work, how to place stems so they stay where you want them, and how to use the same approach again at home.

 

You Do Not Need To Be "Good at Flowers."

If you can trim a stem and follow a few straightforward instructions, you can do this. I’ll demonstrate each step, answer questions as you work, and help when something refuses to cooperate. The goal is not to copy my arrangement. It is to leave with one that looks like you made it on purpose.

Do I need floral arranging experience?
No. This workshop is designed for beginners as well as people who have arranged flowers before.

What will I make?
A low, Gothic-inspired seasonal centerpiece with a moody palette, plenty of texture, and foam-free mechanics.

What should I bring?
Nothing. Maybe a sweater. I’ll provide the materials and tools you need.

What is the cancellation policy?
Workshop tickets are nonrefundable. If another workshop date is available, you may transfer your registration. You may also give or sell your ticket to someone else.
